A new NFL season is about to start, and the Cincinnati Bengals are once again regarded as a very strong team. Joe Burrow has issued a strong warning to the entire league about his club’s intentions this year.

In just a few weeks, all 32 NFL teams will begin their journey toward Super Bowl LIX. Several teams are considered contenders, with the Bengals being one of them.

Joe Burrow, the team’s starting quarterback, had a rough 2023 due to several injuries throughout the campaign. However, he’s now ready to face a new season and guide his team to success.

The AFC North has undoubtedly improved in recent years. In 2020, the Bengals drafted Joe Burrow as the 1st overall pick, and he has definitely bolstered the team since then.

However, the Bengals are not the only team that has increased its level of play recently. The Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns have also created highly competitive rosters, while the Pittsburgh Steelers remain a strong franchise despite recent struggles.

In his four years in the NFL, Joe Burrow has won the AFC North twice (2021 and 2022). Nevertheless, in 2023, the Ravens took the title, but the Bengals quarterback is ready to reclaim the division this year.

When asked about the possible standings of the AFC North, Joe Burrow didn’t hesitate to state that the Bengals will finish first. The former LSU player wants to prove to everyone that he’s the best quarterback in the league by leading his team to success.

“That’s what happens when you get hurt,” Burrow said on the “Pardon My Take” podcast. “You don’t play football, people forget about you. … I love the spot I’m in. … You’re not out there, people aren’t watching you, then there’s nothing to talk about. So I’m gonna give people something to talk about this year. I’m excited.”

How many AFC North titles do the Bengals have?

The Cincinnati Bengals have won the AFC North division title six times. Their titles came in the years 2005, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2021, and 2022. Before 2005, the club won the AFC Central division, which was the precursor to the AFC North, four times.
