<p>Contrary to what Favre said about letting the team handle their business, the 3-time Pro-Bowler will take care of things if he doesn’t get his wish granted in the next couple of months. According to NBC Sports’ Chris Simms, the former Clemson player could sit out the 2021 season to prove his point.</p>
<p><em>“I’ve been led to believe this—that there’s no way that Deshaun Watson will play for the Houston Texans again,” Simms said on PFT Live on Monday. “I have been told by somebody that I trust that says ‘Deshaun Watson will not play for the Houston Texans ever again, and he’s willing to sit out football for the year if he has to.’ That’s where I’ve been led to understand this situation and where it’s at right now, and like I said, it’s someone that I trust very much.”</em></p>

<p>With this trade, the Texans would get a couple of picks in this year’s draft to address their defensive needs and could try and see what <strong>Jarrett Stidham</strong> is all about, even though he’s been far from impressive thus far.</p>

<h2>T.J. Lang Says Aaron Rodgers Is Pissed Off At The Packers, Will Make Them Pay</h2>
<p><em><strong>“I think he was quietly pissed when they took Jordan Love a year ago</strong>. The one thing I’ll say about Aaron Rodgers, pretty much the last 10 years of his career he’s wanted that team to just go all-in for one year. ‘Just give me some pieces, let’s just go all-in, let’s trade a future first if we have to get a couple guys. Let’s just go all-in and try to win this thing’,” </em>Land told<strong>John Healy of Radio.com.</strong></p>
<p><em>“And then last year, he hinted at them doing that, ‘Hey, I’m excited, let’s see who they can bring in,’ and they bring in a QB.<strong> I think that was the ultimate slap to the face when you feel like you’re one piece away from winning the whole thing,</strong>“</em> he added.</p>

<p>The offensive linesmen also claimed that he doesn’t think that Rodgers is going to leave any time soon and that he will force the Packers’ hand to pay him <strong>a huge sum of money</strong> and/or bring in more players:</p>
<p><em><strong>“I think he’s gonna make them pay, man. I think he’s gonna want some sort of new deal where they guarantee a couple more years for him, security-wise, being in Green Bay.</strong> I don’t think he wants to go anywhere, but I think he’s going to hold their feet to the fire and say, ‘Hey, if you’re going to keep me around, A) you’re going to pay me, and B) you’re going to bring in some players that I want to play with where we can take this next leap,”</em> he concluded.</p>
<p>At the end of the day, the Packers know that Aaron Rodgers is the only guy capable of leading the way and that they’ll only go as far as he can take them, <strong>so they better try and get on the same page.</strong></p>
