This is great news for the Bengals who have seen how Flacco reignited their offense. 



On the Bengals, Flacco is throwing for 261.3 yards per game, with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. With Flacco, the Bengals are averaging 29.7 points per game. <h2>If Flacco isn’t there, it’s Jake Browning again</h2>



Browning played four games this season but started three. He is 0-3. He is completing 64.5% of his passes for 189.3 yards per game with six touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Under Browning as a starter, the Bengals averaged 12.3 points a game. In fact, they scored 10 or less twice. While Flacco is producing the goods, he still can’t win all games despite having great outputs. Why? The Bengals defense is as bad as they come. They rank 32nd in yards allowed per game, 30th in passing defense, 32nd in rushing defense and 32nd in points allowed. Literally, it’s the worst unit in the NFL.



Hence, shootouts is the way to go. With Browning, there is no chance to win shootouts. With Flacco, there is a chance, but there are no guarantees he will win week in and week out.

He had been in the league long enough where the reports have just been unbelievable anywhere he’s been. Jacksonville, Green Bay, Chicago. It’s good to have him here.”

<h2>Rattler’s numbers were not enough to avoid benching</h2>



Rattler is 1-7 this season but 1-13 overall in his career. In 2025, he completed 68% of his passes for 1586, eight touchdowns and five interceptions. His passer rating is 86.8 which is slightly below average. He also had four fumbles.

As for Shough, he ended 17/30 for 128 yards, one interception and a 53.2 passer rarting. Hence, looking at the raw numbers, Shough is actually a bit of a downgrade compared to Rattler. However, now Shough has the chance to prove doubters wrong.

“He just doesn’t get open fast enough,” Smith said. “Josh Allen looks his way. There’s a few times when it’s press coverage when Josh looks over there. But Josh gets off of him very fast. And some people say, ‘Well, he was open on this play, but Josh got off of him.’ Yes. That means he’s taking too long.”



After a strong 112-yard performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, Coleman’s level wasn’t the same. He has averaged 20.8 yards per game, which isn’t ideal for a player with his potential. The Bills have struggled to find a reliable wide receiver after trading Stefon Diggs, and Coleman isn’t the answer.&nbsp;

Taylor leads the NFL in carries (143), yards rushing (850) and touchdowns (12) after eight weeks of action. The running back has elevated his game and confirmed that he belongs to the elite of his position.

Running a 4.4-second 40-yard dash, Tracy is not the fastest but he is still explosive enough. to take advantage of any gaps. Skattebo is more of a contact-first back, while Tracy likes cutting and making runs based on his acceleration. The Giants are 18th in total offense, 18th in passing offense, 15th in rushing and 23rd in points scored. Pretty much a middle of the pack unit. However, there are talented guys on that offense.



Now, it’s time to be a consistent unit all around. The Giants defense has a very good front seven, hence the defense will give the offense a chance to win games many times. It’s all about consistency and being able to take advantage of the opportunities in front of them.
