Mitch Marner just signed as the newest member of the Golden Knights following a trade with the Maple Leafs. In return, Toronto received Nicolas Roy in the deal. This way, Vegas avoided letting Marner test free agency and secured a star player.
Despite being the best team in the Pacific Division with 50 wins, last season ended on a bittersweet note for Eichel and the Golden Knights, as they fell in the second round of the playoffs to Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. Thatâs why Marner could be the key to getting revenge in the West.
