Sergio Aguero already is one of the big names on the market for next season. The 32-year-old won't continue with Manchester City, finishing an extremely successful 10-year spell in which he became a Citizens' legend and earned recognition as one of the greatest in Premier League's history.

The Argentine, who amassed 257 goals and lifted multiple trophies with the Sky Blues, will become a free agent in a couple of months and he already is allowed to put pen to paper to a new deal with any other team. His contract situation called the attention from important teams a long time ago, but as the end of the season is getting closer, interested parties are hurrying up to win the race for his signing.

Barcelona are one strong candidate who are keen to bring Aguero in. The Blaugranas are lacking of a No. 9 that can provide a satisfying goal record since Luis Suárez left, and a move for El Kun could be a huge boost in their aspirations to convince Lionel Messi to stay. The compatriots became close friends from their early days in the Argentina national team, and the Pulga could be thrilled to remain with the Catalans if his best pal joins the squad. However, another European giant is looking forward to sign Aguero, and even placed a tempting offer over the table for him.

A powerful side competes with Barcelona for Aguero's signing

El Kun will have - and probably already has - uncountable options for the next season. While it's already known that Barca are one of them, it was reported that Juventus made a formal bid for the striker. The Italians are working to strengthen their squad after a poor season in which they were knocked out of the Champions League in the round of 16 and are struggling in the Serie A

According to multiple reports, the Vecchia Signora offers Aguero a two-year deal for €10 million each. It's a huge possibility for the Argentine, who is heading into the final years of his career. Agreeing to such a deal for an important side like Juve could be his last dance in Europe's elite level for a worthy contract.

However, the former Atlético de Madrid player is believed to be so enthusiastic about teaming up with Leo Messi that he would turn down Juventus' great proposal. His future remains uncertain, though, as Ronald Koeman is eager to sign compatriot Memphis Depay, who is also set to become a free agent this summer.

Sergio Aguero's next team is one of the great topics of discussion in the world of soccer as the 2020-21 campaign is coming to an end. The Argentine superstar isn't at his best moment after suffering with injuries and seeing few minutes of first-team action with City, but he still calls the attention from the most important teams in Europe. Barcelona and Juventus are among those, and they seem to be the most likely clubs to land him for next season.
