Micah Parsons played limited snaps in his debut but still made his mark known. However, itās no secret he was dealing with some back issues. Hence, the question: is the star defensive end playing on Thursday Night Football when the Green Bay Packers host the Washington Commanders?
Per the Injury Report, Micah Parsons is listed as questionable. This means he is likely to play on the game. What remains to be seen is if he will be limited or not as far as snaps played go.
Against the Lions in Week 1, Parsons played 30 snaps only. That equated to 44.78% of the possible snaps. Even if he played less than half of the snaps, Parsons was an absolute game-wrecker. He had one sack, a tackle for loss, a QB hit and opened up spaces for teammates to pressure Jared Goff.
Parsons will have a tougher task vs. Commanders
While everyone knows Parsonsā talent is other-worldly, facing Jared Goff is way different than facing a more mobile, fast, swift, and agile quarterback like Jayden Daniels. Two games have been played where Parsons lines up against Daniels. In those, Parsons has 4.5 sacks which is no easy feat.
Daniels is very tough to get, but Parsonsā explosiveness and sheer strength allows him to still create chaos. Still, if he is limited, Daniels is a tougher target than Goff in terms of sacking opportunities.

The Packers should have an advantage
The NFL works in weird ways. Some teams are just not designed to play on short weeks. Fortunately for the Packers, it seems like the Commanders donāt like short turns.
The Commanders havenāt covered the spread, whether they were favorites or underdogs, in four of the last five games played on Thursday Night. This is an indictment on them now, as itās a pretty measurable sample size. Pair that to the fact that the Packers are riding a 6-0 streak at Lambeau against their TNF opponents and the Cheesehead fandom should be positive about getting a win tonight.
