NFL News: Aaron Rodgers isn’t worried at all about his future with Steelers after disastrous performance in loss against Chargers

Aaron Rodgers has gone through a tough week following the Steelers’ loss to the Chargers. The quarterback has been singled out as the main person responsible for the offensive disaster in Los Angeles, but after two decades in the NFL, the veteran knows exactly how to bounce back.

“It’s just consistency. If the process is right, you don’t have to make any major changes or freak out. It’s the nature of the league. There’s going to be a stinker every now and then. You just got to bounce back. Get back to the things you do, get back in your routine and try to be better the next week.”

Rodgers pointed out that in the last game, an off night combined with a great performance by the Chargers’ defense made the difference. “They got a good defense. They clamped us down and a couple of throws I usually hit, I missed. I think that’s kind of the main reasons.”

The next game for the Pittsburgh Steelers will be against the Bengals in Week 11. The two teams have already faced each other this season in what was an epic 33-31 victory for Cincinnati just a month ago.

Joe Flacco had only been with Zac Taylor’s team for a few days following the shocking trade with the Browns. Given this scenario, Aaron Rodgers spoke about what it means to face a divisional opponent for the second time so soon.

“Well, there’s always a familiarity when you’re playing in your division. They had a week off. So, usually when you play a team off a bye, there are some wrinkles. So, there will be some unscattered looks. I’m sure. But, at this point in the season, you’re trying to run your best stuff, and they’re trying to run their best stuff.”
