“Stef’s probably dramatic,” Maye said with a smirk. “Every time he gets hit he lays on the ground and acts like he just got hit by an 18-wheeler or something. So he’s — No, he’s awesome. I think just try to throw a catchable ball. That goes with being accurate. He’s (Diggs) awesome. He’s got great hands, one of the best hands I’ve seen. He’s effortless catching it. When it gets cold out, he likes catching more with his body. But when the lights are on he’s got one of the best games in the league.”

“Oh no, I don’t even know what show he’s on,” Maye explained. “I think they get paid to make remarks and make certain comments. So, I just worry about what people in our organization think, and worry about we think and what my teammates think. People are going to have different opinions. I’m just going out there on Sunday and worrying about ourselves.”



The Patriots will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. Joe Flacco and Co. can make things difficult for the Patriots, but they are set to extend their winning streak to nine games.

<h2>The Pats defense is underrated</h2>



Only once has this defense allowed more than 24 points in the season. At the same time, the Pats have allowed 20 or less points in seven games. Yes, the schedule has been somewhat easy, but when you really look at it, you can see some decent units unable to move the chains.



The Bills were limited to only 20 points, the Steelers to 21 and the Buccaneers to 23. Hence, it’s time to give credit where credit is due. After all, offense wins games, but a complete roster can actually dream with something way bigger.

But Mike Vrabel has completely transformed the franchise. His system has unlocked Drake Maye’s full potential, and that pairing has proven to be a winning formula.



On Thursday night, Maye delivered another elite performance, finishing with a 73.5% completion rate, 281 yards, one touchdown, and a 107.6 QB rating. At this point, those numbers almost feel routine.

Last week, after the road win over the Buccaneers, Maye also heard MVP chants and jokingly claimed they were for Baker Mayfield. But with the way he’s playing, it’s clear who the fans are really cheering for.



<h2>What’s next for the Patriots?</h2>



At 9–2, the Patriots currently hold the best record in the NFL (with the rest of Week 11 still to be played). And their path only gets smoother before their Week 14 bye.



New England is set to face the Bengals and the Giants — two matchups in which the Patriots could realistically extend their win total. If everything goes their way, they could head into the bye with an impressive 11–2 record.
