Spivey played on the Houston Roughnecks from the UFL last season. At a massive 6-foot-5 frame and 240 pounds, Spivey wants to make an impact and finally take a spot on the 53-man roster.



<h2>Travis Kelce might be playing his last season</h2>



Kelce has already declared he will come back for one more year. Many are taking it as ‘The Last Dance.’ This would mean one of the most coveted tight end spots in the NFL will be up for grabs. No one thinks Kelce will be replaced this season as the starter. However, it’s likely the Chiefs are looking for an heir to the throne he will leave.

Spivey had 28 catches and 298 yards with 1 touchdown in his college career. He will try to be in consideration for that hole on the roster. Spivey’s numbers on both college and UFL are nothing to be ecstatic about, but there is something on his repertoire that intrigues the Chiefs. That explains why he has tried out three times and why he’s been signed twice now.

<h2>The Chiefs want to bounce back</h2>



The Chiefs failed to capture a historic NFL three-peat by losing the Super Bowl to the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/philadelphia-eagles" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Eagles</a>. It was a tough pill to swallow. The Chiefs were beaten, but also got overwhelmed.



The last time they lost a Super Bowl, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/patrick-mahomes" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patrick Mahomes</a> guided the team all the way back to the big game and won it. Looking at the past, that’s what the Chiefs want to replicate. If there is a team that can bounce back from a tough defeat, it’s Kansas City.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/kansas-city-chiefs">Kansas City Chiefs</a> just received their rings as AFC champions after the 2024 season. However, that doesn’t matter much to <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a>, as his goals are always set much higher.



“Everybody has their own view on it. Unfortunately for me, I’m only interested in Super Bowl rings. I know what the AFC Championship means to this organization and the family. The 15 wins and everything is something special that I’ll let everybody else be happy with. Last year wasn’t a success for me. I’m motivated to make sure that we get that other ring this year.”



The Chiefs were dominated in the last <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/super-bowl">Super Bowl</a> 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles, and this year they will try to keep alive a dynasty that, at least within their conference, could be threatened by rivals like the Bills and the Ravens.



<h2>Can the Chiefs win the Super Bowl?</h2>



Travis Kelce is convinced that the Chiefs can win the Super Bowl in the 2025 season. The legendary tight end pointed out that a key factor is the mindset instilled by head coach Andy Reid.


 

 


“Coach Reid has set the tone. He challenges us every single week and every single year. It’s a mentality that I know is going to set us up for success down the road.”

Additionally, Kelce mentioned that the only thing that would make the upcoming season a success is winning another championship. “That’s the only way I’d determine whether it’s a success or not (winning the Super Bowl). It’s just how I’m kind of wired now. It’s just more of a genuine feeling and the right mentality to just go out there and make every play for my team.”
