Duke Blue Devils star Cooper Flagg is the talk of the nation, not limited to the town of Durham in North Carolina. Projected to be selected first overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, Flagg’s every move draws attention from both the NCAA and the big-leagues. After the Blue Devils dismantled Wake Forest by a score of 93-60, Flagg issued an honest, yet suspenseful message about his future.

Senior Night was a success at Cameron Indoor Stadium, as the Blue Devils put on a memorable performance, routing the opposing Demon Deacons. A chapter comes to an end for the seniors in Durham, and many believe Flagg’s time at the school is drawing closer to its finale, too.

However, Flagg has previously mentioned his interest in staying in school for another year, though it’s unclear how much thought he gave to that statement or if it was simply a product of the heat of the moment.

After the emotions ran colder through Flagg’s body, and the buzzer sounded in Duke’s final win at home in the NCAA season, the forward took a moment to absorb his time in Durham.

ā€œThe feeling I had — the crowd, it was the loudest it’s been all year,ā€ Flagg said, via ESPN. ā€œI was back on defense, and I could almost feel that building shaking. This is the best place in college basketball, for sure. I’ve loved every single minute of being here. It’s been an amazing year.ā€
