Aaron Rodgers’ massive revelation on why he’s not playing well

Aaron Rodgers was seen as one of the top quarterbacks for this 2022 NFL season. Well, he has not lived up to the expectations. The team is currently 4-7 in the NFC North and it doesn’t look like they are going to the Playoffs this year.

But Rodgers, 38, has a reason why he can’t throw very well the football. Now, the Packers quarterback has revealed he’s been dealing with a severe injury in his hand: a broken thumb.

“I think I’ve had worse injuries I’ve played with,” Rodgers said, via The Athletic’s Matt Schneiderman. “So, you know, definitely a challenge. But the days off help. Feeling better this week.”

“I’m not going to make excuses about my thumb, it’s been the same since New York. I don’t know. I gotta go back and look at it,” the quarterback added. “It felt like, fundamentally, I was in a good spot. I just didn’t have the same type of consistent grip and ball coming out the same way.”

As Rodgers said, he’s not trying to make excuses, but it is definitely something to worry about as the thumb is very important to throw the ball. Should the Packers give him some rest as the season seems to have ended for them?
