Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed that Aaron Rodgers will be their starting quarterback in the Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the hard hit he took from Joey Bosa last Sunday, the veteran will be ready.
Rodgers was listed as a full participant in Thursday’s and Friday’s practices, so he won’t have any issues playing in Baltimore. However, the big question is how much the fracture in his left wrist will affect him again.
If the Steelers want to stay in the playoff race, the two remaining games against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are key to determining who wins the AFC North. Otherwise, the wild-card race looks like an impossible path.
Who got injured with Steelers?
Kyle Duggar suffered a hand injury with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is officially out for the game against the Baltimore Ravens. A tough blow for the secondary heading into one of the key matchups of the season.
The safety has had a big impact since his arrival to the Steelers after a trade with the New England Patriots. Following the departure of Minkah Fitzpatrick, Duggar had been the answer to finding a reliable replacement.
Another piece of bad news for the Steelers is that Derrick Harmon is out with a knee injury he has not recovered from. His absence is significant because Pittsburgh has struggled heavily to stop the running game. Now, the challenge is massive against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
