“I still see the same guy that I’ve been fearful of the last four years,” Ulbrich said. “He’s maybe one of the best rhythm throwers in the NFL still to date. And it’s coaching as well. His synchronized feet with the routes and the concept is just elite. When the back foot hits, the ball’s coming out. When you get the ball out like that, the players, as we’ve already mentioned, with the speed that they have, that can be explosive, that can be scary. So again, like I said, we’ve got to have our best week of prep.”

“When he came in, obviously, there was a bunch of negative media,” Pittman said. “I always thought of Daniel as a good quarterback. He just wasn’t in a great system to help him succeed. But I always thought that he was super tough. He’s a tough guy, he used to take a lot of sacks. He used to stand in that pocket and deliver throws and stuff like that. I was excited for him. And then he got here, and he was nothing like what the media portrayed him out to be. And I just never could understand why Dan was over-hated where he was at prior. Because the way he showed up, he’s a great dude, a great teammate, he’s a guy that you love to be around inside the building and outside of the building. I never understood how that negative stuff found him when he was at his other spot.”

Jones has made a strong impression on fans and analysts. The Seahawks’ defense has been their presentation card in recent times. The Legion of Boom is no more, but they can create another intimidating unit with Jones as the cornerstone.&nbsp;

It is so much easier to say it than to do it. Allen is one of the best players in the league and the reigning MVP. The Bills have failed to find a true WR1 option, but Allen remains a big threat to opponents.

“I would say right now, I actually trust the Colts more,” Gronkowski said. “I’m a little worried about the Bills. Their defense is a little iffy. “I’m at where I’m supposed to be at. I’m playing for the team that wanted me,” Thompson said.&nbsp;The Bills are taking the most advantage of having a player like Thompson. 



He has played 44% of possible defensive snaps in five games, and McDermott has used him as an option in three-linebacker sets. Buffalo needs a win after two big losses. The Panthers are on a roll, but Thompson’s motivation could make a difference.&nbsp;

Maye has gone 152 of 202 for 1,744 yards and 12 touchdowns against two interceptions. He has shown off his mobility with 44 carries for 200 yards and two touchdowns in seven games, establishing himself as one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the league.



While he’s putting up big numbers and taking the team to lead a division that includes Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, not everybody is high on Maye.

During Monday’s episode of ESPN’s “First Take,” former Patriots offensive guard Damien Woody said Maye is a top-five quarterback in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL </a>this season. Former Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton rejected that idea.

“Top five in the NFL? All right, Damien, you’re tripping. Is he playing good football? Yes, he definitely is. But top five in the NFL?” Newton asked. “Nothing against Drake Maye, because I’m a fan. If I’ve never been a fan of any young quarterback, he’s my favorite. But I don’t think he’s reached a limit now where you need to consider him a top five.”



It might be premature to rank Maye so high, but he’s definitely earning his stripes this season. The Patriots won only four games last season and they already passed that number this campaign. Maye has shown signs of his brilliance and Patriots fans are excited about the future.&nbsp;

The Cardinals entered halftime up 13-6, but only added 10 points in the second half while the Packers scored 24 points.



With six minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Cardinals up by three points, they went for it on a fourth-and-short scenario. The quarterback sneak wasn’t fruitful, and the Cardinals turned the ball over on downs.



The Packers recovered the ball and took a four-point lead afterward, giving the Cardinals their fifth consecutive loss of the season.

Speaking with reporters, Gannon said he felt it was the best decision, and he went for it, regardless of how it went.

“I definitely wanted to go. I would’ve went for it a little more than that,” Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters following the game. “That’s been a successful play for us. We have a couple of different plays in that situation, but we liked the call. We just have to execute a little bit better. It looked like to me – I have to watch the tape on that – but it looked like we might have muffed the snap. I don’t know if you guys saw that or not. It didn’t look exactly clean. It was a big mush pile, but we have to get a yard there. We have to surge and get a yard.”

<h2>Jaxon Smith-Njigba makes history with strong performance</h2>



ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that Smith-Njigba’s Monday game broke a tie for the longest streak in franchise history. His numbers are on a different level, as JSN leads the NFL with 819 receiving yards, while no other player has 700-plus receiving yards.

Additionally, he set a mark for the most receiving yards in a seven-game span in the team’s history and has received 46% of the team’s yards, leading the league in that department, too.&nbsp;



With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett out, Smith-Njigba has taken his game to a new level. The Seahawks are 5-2 and still co-lead the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams.



The Seahawks enter their bye week before returning to the field in Week 9 to face off against the Washington Commanders.&nbsp;

The <a href="http://bolavip.com/en/topic/new-orleans-saints" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">New Orleans Saints</a> received a big blow during the Chicago Bears duel in Week 7 of the 2025 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> season. Not only did they lose against Caleb Williams and Co., but running back Kendre Miller suffered a torn ACL, meaning he will miss the remainder of the season.



Alvin Kamara, the team’s RB1, is still capable of leading the running game, but at age 30, Kamara hasn’t played more than 14 games since 2022. This would put the team in a complex position for the rest of the campaign.



Kamara leads the Saints in carries (94), yards rushing (342), and is tied in touchdowns rushing (one) with Miller and quarterback Spencer Rattler. The NFC South team will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8. This game could see the Saints make a change in the running back room.



<h2>Rookie RB could take over after Kendre Miller’s injury</h2>



It remains to be seen if the Saints bring a new running back, but Audacy Sports’ Jeff Nowak sees rookie Devin Neal having an increased role in this offense.

“We’ll see what happens with Kendre Miller’s injury, but rookie Devin Neal is likely in line for a significant role going forward in the Saints offense,” Nowak said.



Neal is a sixth-rounder from Kansas who hasn’t had many chances to shine. However, he has Kamara’s support, as the veteran sees interesting traits in the rookie. Neal has carried the ball three times for 10 yards this season.



Kellen Moore knows a thing or two about maximizing running backs’ abilities and opportunities and Neal could take advantage of that. At 1-6, New Orleans can afford to try different things and see if Neal can bring a spark to the squad.&nbsp;
