However, Allgeier knows he is doing his job, and he’s not planning to do something different to get more flashes. Speaking of his running style, he made it clear that opponents have a hard time stopping him.&nbsp;



“That’s just the running style that I have,” Allgeier said. “I pride myself on not getting tackled by one guy. If they do, shoot, it’s a really super, really good tackle.”

“He’s one of those guys that just comes to work every day and does his job,” Morris said. “We talk about these operational executions, these operations pieces, and it’s just what Tyler is. Wherever you put him, whatever you ask him to do, he’s able to go out there and have that resiliency and that toughness. He’s able to just play the game, play the play — whatever it is — and be ready to go. That’s why we love him.”



In nine games played, he has carried the ball 74 times for 270 yards and six touchdowns. He is tied with London as the two players with the most scores this season, and he’s not stopping there.

“It’s Drake Maye,” Clark said. “Coming into the season, the question was, ‘Can Drake Maye do enough for what we feel is gonna be a great rushing attack for this offense to compete?’ I said the one thing we’re not talking about enough is the possibility of Drake Maye’s ascension. And the push back to me was, ‘Not this year, because he doesn’t have enough around him.’ When that’s the pushback, and then the team does this, and Drake Maye is in the MVP conversation, leading the MVP conversation, you can’t go, ‘Man, it’s everybody else!&apos;”



In 11 games, Maye has gone 230 of 320 for 2,836 yards and 20 touchdowns against five interceptions. His improvement is clear, as he’s gone from 66.6% completion to 71.9%, an 88.1 passer rating to 113.2, and a 55.2 QBR to 74.1.&nbsp;



The Patriots are one of the best teams in the AFC, and Maye is one of the best players in the league.&nbsp;

Adams is dealing with an oblique injury, Los Angeles Times’ Gary Klein reports. He is listed as questionable for this matchup, but there is a chance he can still suit up. Then again, this injury could affect his performance, as it can trouble Adams’ route-running. The Rams would be careful with him, which means the Seahawks’ defense would focus all its attention on Puca Nakua.&nbsp;



There’s still time before they make a decision, but the situation doesn’t look favorable for Adams, even if he’s able to take the field.&nbsp;

She agreed that the season hasn’t been what fans envisioned, but she’s confident they are on the right path.



“I’m very disappointed, as everybody is, but we’re in a rebuilding mode,” Benson said. “Mickey said this from the very beginning of the season. … I understand how fans feel. I really do. And I feel bad for the fans, but we told everybody in the beginning, this was going to be a tough year, and it has been a tough year.”



The Saints have shown potential this season, but they need time, and see how rookie quarterback Tyler Shough develops to compete again in the NFC.&nbsp;

Marvin Harrison Jr. struggled at the start of the campaign, but found a footing by the weeks. He is part of the team’s future plans, but it seems like he isn’t in the best situation to shine.&nbsp;

Star tight end Trey McBride, playing his fourth campaign in the league, is one of the few bright spots the Cardinals have had this season. The Colorado State product has become one of the most reliable players in his position, and his numbers this season are a testament to how important he is for the Cardinals.&nbsp;

The Panthers didn’t look like their regular selves on Sunday. Asked if the team didn’t put enough effort into practice, rookie linebacker Nic Scourton noted that they could have done a better job to prepare for this game.&nbsp;

“Yeah, I just kind of heard about it recently,” Jones said. “Obviously you never want to see anyone fired. It’s an unfortunate part of this business. So yeah, I think that’s the reaction. Hope the best for him and everybody there in New York.”



From 2019 through 2024, Jones played 70 games with the Giants, going 1,437 of 2,241 for 14,582 yards, 70 touchdowns, and 47 interceptions. After being cut last November, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings for the rest of the 2024 season.

“So we can start the Bill Belichick countdown, now? We all know where this is headed with the Giants…” Frascella tweeted. More than that, Gary Myers echoed the sentiment, noting that Belichick’s relationship with the team has always been excellent.&nbsp;



“I think Belichick would do it in a second,” Myers said on “Valentine’s Views” podcast. “He loves the Giants. I mean he loves the Giants. He gets emotional and melancholy reminiscing about his Giant years. Although that was a long time ago, the Giants have stolen his heart.”



Belichick joined the Giants in 1979 as a special teams coach and defensive assistant. He added linebackers coaching to his duties a year later, later becoming the team’s defensive coordinator in 1985. He won two Super Bowls with the “Big Blue,” including the XXV edition, where Belichick stopped the Buffalo Bills with a game plan that has been placed in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.&nbsp;

“Yeah I mean, he’s been arrow up since he’s got here,” Steichen said of Pierce’s progress. “He’s making big-time plays down the field. His intermediate game is making big strides so he’s able to do a lot for us offensively – moving him around, trying to get certain matchups.”



Pierce is playing his fourth season in the league, and he’s just 14 receptions (41) and 27 targets (78) away from surpassing their best campaign. He has recorded 585 yards and one touchdown this season.&nbsp;
