Meirov reports that the Falcons’ brass will check everything to ensure the organization is in the right position to compete:



“I think the ownership group is going to have to take a hard look at everybody here, because these are guys they decided to keep when they fired Arthur Smith the first time,” Meirov said. “Terry Fontenot, Rich McKay, they are the ones who convinced ownership to go out there and hire Raheem Morris over that list of Mike Vrabel, Ben Johnson and Mike Macdonald and Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh. The people who convinced Arthur Blank to do it were Terry Fontenot and Rich McKay. There’s going to be a lot of real, serious discussions here in Atlanta as this year goes on.”&nbsp;



Atlanta will face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, hoping to snap their losing streak. However, a loss against their archrivals would make things more difficult for Morris and Co.&nbsp;

Bryce Young put up a show against the Falcons, finishing 31 of 45 for 448 yards and three touchdowns. Rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was his best partner, as they connected on eight passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns.&nbsp;



The running game wasn’t as effective as before, only racking up 47 yards. However, running back Chuba Hubbard celebrated one of his teammates finding the end zone and his pace again.&nbsp;

And just continuing to work hard, put his head down and just do what he does. And then for it to show up the way it does, it’s good to see.”



The Panthers have pulled off big wins this season, but they need to find consistency. That starts with Young, who often swaps terrific performances with quiet games. The San Francisco 49ers will be a good test to see where they stand in Week 12.

More specifically, he said the Patriots would struggle against heavy-run offenses.&nbsp;

“In 2025, I can’t allow you to play a safe defense and still have success,” Orlovsky said. “They’re in nickel, it feels like, on every single snap. … New England’s using the nickel the third-most in the NFL. In 2025, when it’s the year of tight ends and smash-mouth football and playing under center. As great as the New England story has been, if New England consistently thinks that they’re going to be allowed to line up and play nickel defense, in a win-or-go-home game against some teams in the AFC that can and will play smash-mouth, multiple tight ends, fullback-on-the-field football, it’ll be an early exit if they get into the playoffs.”



The rest of the schedule doesn’t seem to be dangerous to the Patriots in that regard. The only two teams with solid running games are the Bills and the Baltimore Ravens, whom they face in Weeks 15 and 16, respectively.&nbsp;

“I want to give some love to Tetairoa McMillan. It was a breakout game for him, but he’s been playing like this all season long, like a true wide receiver one. Per ESPN Research, the Seahawks’ odds of winning the division dropped from 33% to 19% with the loss. Seattle is only a game back of the Rams and will play them again in Seattle next month. The Seahawks need to fix their turnover problem in the meantime.”



Seattle is headed to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. The Seahawks need to bounce back to continue in the race to win the division.
