“The Falcons opt not to take the timeout,” said Adam Amin. “The Colts are happy, now, at third-and-long to let the clock move down a little bit, but Atlanta did not use a timeout.”



After safety Jessie Bates III intercepted a Daniel Jones pass with 21 seconds left, the Falcons only had eight seconds to try to score. Bates was then flagged for taunting, and the team was moved back to its 23-yard line.&nbsp;



Amin noted that Morris could have managed the clock better, noting that the coach has been criticized over that since he arrived in Atlanta.&nbsp;



“If you take that timeout, the clock was at about 30 seconds plus when Kaden Elliss got that sack,” Amin said. “You could’ve used that timeout. If there is one criticism that’s been hanging around Raheem Morris over the last year plus as the head coach of the Falcons, it is clock management. It feels like it could’ve been an opportunity there.”



The Falcons have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season, and the issues appear to stem from their coaching staff.&nbsp;

The NFC West franchise, already sitting at 6-2, added a terrific wide receiver to a room that already had Jaxon Smith-Njigba, one of the best players in his position, and the veteran Cooper Kupp.&nbsp;

The four-year veteran is on track to record his best season in the league, and the Seahawks are excited to see him on the field. According to the Weber State product, fans should get used to seeing him at Lumen Field.

“Now you have that with Jacoby Brissett, a veteran, guy who has a ton of maturity. I mean, you just see him coming into his own. You see the way that the players respond to him, you just, you could feel it last night as you’re watching the game,” Brees said. “It’s hard to put numbers or metrics to that other than just you know what you’re watching. I don’t think you can take Jacoby Brissett off the field right now. They played their best football in the last couple of weeks. They’re trending up.”



In five games, Brissett has gone 73 of 112 for 860 yards and six touchdowns against one sack and 13 interceptions. The Cardinals have been competitive with Brissett under center, and Monday’s win against the Dallas Cowboys definitely helped the 32-year-old’s case.&nbsp;

“A reach? This is robbery,” Prisco said. “Not only are you getting two first-round picks back, you’re giving up an enormous salary. So the Colts are giving away two first-round picks for corner who has a big salary and hasn’t quite played up to expectations. This is a desperation move by the Indianapolis Colts. Sauce Gardner at best is a really good player, but he’s not worth two number ones.”



Gardner is expected to make his debut against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Going against a player like Drake London could show Prisco and others where the cornerback stands among the best in his position.&nbsp;

Perry, however, insists that the Titans have no animosity towards New England, and they discussed potential deals with the Patriots, but it couldn’t be done in the end.&nbsp;
