The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/atlanta-falcons" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Atlanta Falcons </a>failed to build on their Week 6 win over the Buffalo Bills and succumbed to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, looking lifeless in a 20-10 loss against the NFC West franchise.



The Falcons are now 3-3, and the questions they needed to answer entering the bye week are still in the air. Bijan Robinson was a shell of himself from the backfield, racking up just 40 yards on 14 carries.



He played better as a pass catcher, recording six receptions for 52 yards and one touchdown. On the other end, Christian McCaffrey took over with 24 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns.



Additionally, he caught seven passes for 72 yards to round up a big night for the veteran running back. In contrast, Michael Penix Jr. didn’t play at the best level, struggling to get things going.

When pressured by San Francisco’s front seven, Penix reverted to forcing throws instead of taking safe checkdowns.”



The former Washington star went 21 of 38 for 241 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked twice and posted an 83.3 passer rating. The Falcons remain an intriguing team, but they must reach the next level soon.&nbsp;

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye has led the<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/new-england-patriots" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> New England Patriots </a>to a dream start to the 2025 NFL season. Neal is a sixth-rounder from Kansas who hasn’t had many chances to shine. However, he has Kamara’s support, as the veteran sees interesting traits in the rookie. Neal has carried the ball three times for 10 yards this season.



Kellen Moore knows a thing or two about maximizing running backs’ abilities and opportunities and Neal could take advantage of that. At 1-6, New Orleans can afford to try different things and see if Neal can bring a spark to the squad.&nbsp;

That game was the final straw for the team’s front office. Brian Callahan was fired on Monday, leaving the franchise with a 4-19 record. Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl"> NF</a>L Draft, left a good impression.&nbsp;



He is still young and has a lot of room for improvement, but opponents are seeing that he brings plenty of things to the table.&nbsp;

“He’s a hell of a competitor, and I love his attitude,” Crosby said. “I know he wants to win really badly. He’s going to have a great career. Guys like that, you can just tell they’re wired the right way. He’s gonna get better and better.”



Additionally, the pass rusher compared Ward to one of his biggest opponents, three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes.&nbsp;



“He’ll wait and wait and wait and wait, and you’re like, ‘Ok, is he really about to hold this motherf****r?’ And you get a hit, but he’s just trying to make an extra play, and you’ve got to respect that because a lot of quarterbacks don’t want to get hit like that. And he doesn’t give a damn, he’s just trying to win,” Crosby said.



The Titans have an intriguing roster that can compete in the future. However, they need the right leader to right the ship and take the squad where they want to go. Ward is a solid prospect, but it didn’t look like he was developing under Callahan.&nbsp;

Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave were mentioned as potential trade chips for the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/new-orleans-saints">New Orleans Saints</a>. After Derek Carr retired and Spencer Rattler took over as the starting quarterback, the Saints have struggled to find consistency and currently sit at 1-5.&nbsp;



The bad results and performances have prompted fans to speculate about the team potentially moving some of their pieces and start planning for the future.

“Yeah, I don’t know where that [came from],” Kamara said, via ESPN’s Katherine Terrell. “We talked about [the report] and we was looking at each other like the little Spider-Man meme: ‘Did you say something? Did I say something?’ I don’t know where that came from, but I think I’ve been vocal enough that … I don’t want to go anywhere.”



Olave added that he’s talked with people within the organization, and nothing suggests he will get shipped somewhere else.&nbsp;



“That’s part of the business, man,” Olave said, via Terrell. “It’s been like that all year, in the offseason. Even right now, I ain’t really been on social media, but I know it’s cooking right now that we’re 1-5. So, there’s always rumors, the internet trying to always create some buzz. But I had a conversation with the people in the building so I’m very confident.”



The Saints lost to the New England Patriots in Week 6. Many think they should start dealing their best players for draft capital or young players. They aren’t reluctant to part with their stars, but time will tell how long they will do so.

“It’s amazing, man. You know, I think when you see it in person, you realize why he is who he is,” McCaffrey said. “I hope so (Robinson has some of his game). That’s a huge compliment. You know, I watch him move, watch him make a lot of these plays and you know it’s inspiring. So he’s definitely somebody that when you watch him play, you know, any chance you get, you can try to emulate some of the stuff he does.”



McCaffrey and Robinson worked out together in the offseason. McCaffrey saw what Robinson brings to the table firsthand and knew the Niners would be in for a busy day trying to stop Robinson.&nbsp;

“It was really fun with him,” Herbert said. “He’s so smart and such a great coach, leader, friend. There’s no surprise why they’re doing so well. He’s such a great coach. Definitely enjoyed our time with him. I learned a lot from him, wish I had more time to learn from him-how smart he was. But I wish him nothing but the best.”



Many considered Herbert’s rookie season the most exciting of his career, perhaps until this season. Steichen has done a terrific job wherever he’s gone, as he’s worked with big players such as Philip Rivers, Jalen Hurts, and Daniel Jones.
