After signing a $180 million extension, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/detroit-lions" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Detroit Lions</a>‘ defensive end Aidan Hutchinson became the second-highest paid non-quarterback player in the NFL. However, for the player, it’s more than just the money.



Speaking to the media, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/aidan-hutchinson" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hutchinson</a> said, “If I ask myself why I play this game and why I do what I do, the money is really a byproduct.” He then added his real driving force is playing the game and improving, saying, “While a lot of those numbers are fun to look at and it’s cool and it’s such a blessing… I have to focus on my play and my evolution as a player. Because to me, that fires me up more than money ever would.”



For Hutchinson, the money is important but he is driven by his will to dominate opposing players, and when looking at his numbers, it’s clear he is just improving every day. The Lions have a massive star on their roster.



<h2>Hutchinson is a menace</h2>



Even when or if he can’t get to the quarterback, he still wreaks havoc. He has six sacks, 13 QB hits, one pass defended and leads the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> in forced fumbles with four. This is great news for the Bengals who have seen how Flacco reignited their offense. 



On the Bengals, Flacco is throwing for 261.3 yards per game, with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. With Flacco, the Bengals are averaging 29.7 points per game. <h2>If Flacco isn’t there, it’s Jake Browning again</h2>



Browning played four games this season but started three. He is 0-3. He is completing 64.5% of his passes for 189.3 yards per game with six touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Under Browning as a starter, the Bengals averaged 12.3 points a game. In fact, they scored 10 or less twice. They rank 32nd in yards allowed per game, 30th in passing defense, 32nd in rushing defense and 32nd in points allowed. Literally, it’s the worst unit in the NFL.



Hence, shootouts is the way to go. With Browning, there is no chance to win shootouts. With Flacco, there is a chance, but there are no guarantees he will win week in and week out.

The Pittsburgh Steelers might let go of Darius Slay due to his poor performances throughout the 2025 season. The cornerback arrived as a key addition after winning the Super Bowl with the Eagles, signing a one-year, $10 million contract.

So we brought him in for a workout, brought him on to our practice squad. I’m glad he’s here. He’s a tremendous leader. . . . He had been in the league long enough where the reports have just been unbelievable anywhere he’s been. Jacksonville, Green Bay, Chicago. It’s good to have him here.”



<h2>What is the Broncos’ depth chart at tight end?</h2>

<h2>Rattler’s numbers were not enough to avoid benching</h2>



Rattler is 1-7 this season but 1-13 overall in his career. In 2025, he completed 68% of his passes for 1586, eight touchdowns and five interceptions. His passer rating is 86.8 which is slightly below average. He also had four fumbles.

As for Shough, he ended 17/30 for 128 yards, one interception and a 53.2 passer rarting. Hence, looking at the raw numbers, Shough is actually a bit of a downgrade compared to Rattler. However, now Shough has the chance to prove doubters wrong.

“Is this the end for Kyler Murray?” Siciliano asked. “Kyler has, after this year, one more year of guaranteed money on his contract. So, maybe the can move on this offseason, maybe they can; maybe if you bring in a new coach and you hit reset, that includes moving on from the quarterback, as well. … I do think he’d be an attractive piece, I do think in this era of give a quarterback a second chance and see what he does somewhere else with a different coach and a different perspective, I think Kyler Murray would be a guy other teams would want.”



Murray entered the league surrounded by doubts, especially regarding his height and whether that could hurt his chances to shine in the league. After seven years, the player hasn’t met the expectations, and a change of air may be in the cards.&nbsp;

<h2>Raheem Morris is optimistic on his QB</h2>



Kirk Cousins went 21 of 31 for 173 yards against the Dolphins. The Falcons scored a single touchdown and lost 34-10 against Tagovailoa. Raheem Morris told reporters on Wednesday that Penix was in the building and the team is optimistic about his chances to play against the Patriots.&nbsp;

“Michael is in the building, obviously in meetings. … We’ll get a chance to get a feel for what he can do in practice, if he can do anything,” Morris said. “He feels better than he did last week. … So, I feel really good about him.”



Penix was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice session. In six games, he has gone 119 of 195 for five touchdowns against three interceptions. The Falcons are a question mark this season, and they need to start winning games before their playoff dreams vanish.&nbsp;

After a strong 112-yard performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, Coleman’s level wasn’t the same. He has averaged 20.8 yards per game, which isn’t ideal for a player with his potential. The Bills have struggled to find a reliable wide receiver after trading Stefon Diggs, and Coleman isn’t the answer.&nbsp;

Taylor leads the NFL in carries (143), yards rushing (850) and touchdowns (12) after eight weeks of action. The running back has elevated his game and confirmed that he belongs to the elite of his position.
