From 2019 through 2024, Jones played 70 games with the Giants, going 1,437 of 2,241 for 14,582 yards, 70 touchdowns, and 47 interceptions. After being cut last November, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings for the rest of the 2024 season.

After safety Jessie Bates III intercepted a Daniel Jones pass with 21 seconds left, the Falcons only had eight seconds to try to score. Bates was then flagged for taunting, and the team was moved back to its 23-yard line.&nbsp;



Amin noted that Morris could have managed the clock better, noting that the coach has been criticized over that since he arrived in Atlanta.&nbsp;



“If you take that timeout, the clock was at about 30 seconds plus when Kaden Elliss got that sack,” Amin said. “You could’ve used that timeout. If there is one criticism that’s been hanging around Raheem Morris over the last year plus as the head coach of the Falcons, it is clock management. It feels like it could’ve been an opportunity there.”

The NFC West franchise, already sitting at 6-2, added a terrific wide receiver to a room that already had Jaxon Smith-Njigba, one of the best players in his position, and the veteran Cooper Kupp.&nbsp;



Quarterback Sam Darnold received one more weapon to terrorize opposing offenses: Rashid Shaheed. The receiver arrived from New Orleans, as he was one of several potential trade chips for the Saints. In nine games this season, Shaheed has posted 44 receptions for 499 yards and two touchdowns. 



The four-year veteran is on track to record his best season in the league, and the Seahawks are excited to see him on the field. According to the Weber State product, fans should get used to seeing him at Lumen Field.

“I’m here to stay, man. We can figure something out after the season end,” he said on Wednesday, via FOX13 Seattle.



Shaheed will be an unrestricted free agent after this campaign. However, he’s not planning to go somewhere else anytime soon.&nbsp;



Reuniting with former Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak might have played a role in Shaheed’s desire to stay with the Seahawks.&nbsp;



“Super glad to be connected back with him,” Shaheed said of his reunion with Kubiak. “He’s familiar with me. He knows my strengths, and I know what his mindset is going into games. And you know, shouldn’t be too hard to get acclimated with him, just find my role in the offense.”



Seattle added more firepower to an offense that plays at a high level. They could be really dangerous if all the pieces click and Sam Darnold continues to shine under center.&nbsp;

“Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the actual MVP of the National Football League,” Hawkins said. “We can make all the mental gymnastic you want to about the quarterback, but nobody’s really dominated, that’s why everyone has an opinion. The person who’s dominating is JSN. He’s averaging 180 yards per game. Last year, he had 1,100 yards, he has (949) in eight games. Last thing I’ll say, 4.6 yards per route. Had Calvin Johnson done that in 2012 when he broke the receiving record, he would have had 3,503 yards that season.”



Other players such as Jonathan Taylor, Daniel Jones, Drake Maye, and even Darnold have posted intriguing numbers, too. Smith-Njigba is playing at a high level, and he will probably get more MVP buzz if he maintains this level.&nbsp;
