After drafting quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft, the Titans entered the season with renewed expectations.



Thirteen weeks later, they have won only one game, fired Brian Callahan as head coach, and Ward’s development hasn’t pleased too many people. The Titans are a young and inexperienced team, but they try to compete every week.



Interim head coach Mike McCoy wants his players to give their all week in and week out, especially when they lose games that look secure at certain points. The coach has made it clear that he’s competing to win and isn’t giving up on the season just yet.

While many think the Titans will tank for the rest of the season to secure next year’s No. 1 pick, McCoy doesn’t believe in that. For him, they still have chances to compete and win a couple of games.

“There’s a burning desire week in and week out to win,” he said. “Looking for plays, and ways, to make that happen. We have to consistently do our jobs better for 60 minutes.”



The Titans have failed to be consistent for a full 60 minutes. If they overcome those shortcomings, the situation would look more favorable. They will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, hoping to win their second game against a divisional rival.

Besides Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor leading the offense, the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/indianapolis-colts" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Indianapolis Colts </a>have relied on a renovated defense to become one of the best teams in the AFC in the 2025 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> season.



Indianapolis fired Gus Bradley as defensive coordinator and hired Lou Anarumo to replace him shortly after the 2024 season finished. Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor fired Anarumo, the leader of their Super Bowl LVI defense, and replaced him with Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden.



The Colts’ defense is thriving this year, and Anarumo has gotten his flowers. So much so that he’s getting head-coaching buzz ahead of the upcoming coaching carousel. However, the coordinator doesn’t seem to be losing sleep over it.

Ahead of Sunday’s duel against the Houston Texans, Anarumo expressed his desire to be a head coach down the road, but insisted that it wasn’t his priority at the time.

“I’d be lying to you if I said that down the road that wasn’t something that would be a career goal, but my full attention is on the Houston Texans,” Anarumo told The Indianapolis Star on Tuesday. “And they better be, because they’re a really good football team. While I appreciate all that stuff, my main — and sole — focus is on the Texans this week.”



The Colts will try to bounce back after losing to Patrick Mahomes and Co. in Week 12. They have everything to beat the Texans, including a strong defense that has put pressure on every quarterback it has faced.&nbsp;

The NFC South team snapped a five-game losing skid against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12 and is now ready to build momentum.



This will be Kirk Cousins’ second start since he became the team’s starting quarterback following Michael Penix Jr.’s season-ending knee injury. It was noticed that Cousins spent more time under center against New Orleans than Penix did.



The veteran went 16 of 23 for 199 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Head coach Raheem Morris agreed that Cousins felt more comfortable playing under center than Penix.



“There’s no question about it,” Morris answered. “Kirk is, that’s what he’s been throughout his whole career. Obviously, when he came off the injury last year, he felt a little bit more comfortable in the pistol.”

“100%. Yeah, that’s very fair to say. I mean, I know it’s a popular kind of narrative to say those things,” Robinson answered when asked if the formations were quarterback-driven. “But, Mike is – I think he’s like third or fourth in the league in yards per attempt, and almost all of his are in the pistol in terms of play pass. So, we’ve had better play pass this year. We’ve had better protection. That’s helped out. We’ve had better route distribution, scheming, all those things that factor into it.”



Atlanta has endured tough moments in 2025. They can still turn things around, but the lack of consistency appears to be their biggest opponent this year.&nbsp;

“I always played with the Saints. I wasn’t a Bengals fan for real,” Burrow said. “I liked college football, so I liked Reggie Bush. And then when Reggie Bush got to the league, I started being a Saints fan.”



The 2025 season hasn’t been favorable for the player and the Saints. He only played two games before suffering the toe injury, going 21 of 36 for 189 yards and two touchdowns. The Saints have won only two games so far, as they are headed to the top of the draft again.&nbsp;



The Bengals had Jake Browning and Joe Flacco filling in for Burrow, but neither could take the team to the promised land.&nbsp;
