<p>The <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/los-angeles-lakers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Los Angeles Lakers</a></strong> are pretty much set for the <strong>upcoming <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> season. Rob Pelinka </strong>has built his team around <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/lebron-james" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LeBron James</a></strong>, and they only need a couple of minor tweaks.</p>



<p>With that in mind, Pelinka revealed that they’re currently after a stretch big man, someone who can rebound and knock down shots. Notably, <strong>Christian Wood</strong> is currently the only free agent that checks both boxes.</p>



<p>Nonetheless, they don’t have enough money to sign him straight up, which is why <strong>NBA insider Marc Stein </strong>reports that there’s a chance they’ll have to do <strong>a sign-and-trade with the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/dallas-mavericks" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dallas Mavericks.</a></strong></p>

<p>Only a year and a half ago, <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/james-harden">James Harden</a></strong> got what he wanted as he left the Brooklyn Nets for the <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/philadelphia-76ers">Philadelphia 76ers</a></strong>. Now, <em>The Beard</em> is once again making headlines as he reportedly wants to be traded for the 2023-24 <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nba">NBA</a></strong> season.</p>



<p>Needless to say, this situation is <strong>far from great</strong> for the Sixers, who hoped that the 10x All-Star would help Joel Embiid win a championship. Without Harden, their title chances would be much lower.</p>



<p>Despite the team’s intentions to change his mind, the 33-year-old seems to have had enough in the City of Brotherly Love as he is understood to be keen on joining the Los Angeles Clippers. However, <strong>Daryl Morey recently made something clear</strong> for Harden.</p>

<p>According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of <em>ESPN</em>, the Golden State Warriors are signing free agent guard <strong>Jerome Robinson</strong> to a training camp contract. The Boston College product was selected <strong>13th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2018 NBA Draft.</strong></p>



<p>The Clippers had reasons to use their first round pick on him, but unfortunately, Robinson fell short of expectations. He was traded to the Washington Wizards in 2020, but was waived only a year later.</p>

The big man has one more year under contract with a player option for a further season, but on August 4 he will be eligible to extend for three more years.</p>



<p>“<em>Anthony Davis in Rob [Pelinka’s] estimation is someone that has represented the Lakers really well, citing how he played through his foot injury last year as a major reason why they won a championship in 2020 and he wants to continue to have Anthony Davis as a Laker… <strong>I am not too concerned about how this thing plays out, whether it’s the max amount of years or max amount of dollars are reached, that remains to be seen and that will be figured out </strong>between Rich Paul and Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss. <strong>But where things stand right now, I expect some sort of an agreement to be reached</strong></em>,” McMenamin said on <em>The Lowe Post</em>, via <em>Lakers Nation</em>. </p>



<p><em>“A lot of it is one, recognizing that Anthony Davis as a trade chip, <strong>there’s no way to replicate the value of what he brings to the court combined with LeBron James when he’s healthy, you just won’t.</strong> It’s absolutely impossible. You also recognize that LeBron turning 39 years old and entering Year 21 has a limited window, so then to try to coalesce with a new group if you were to find this beautiful trade for Anthony Davis, that’s follied, you could be wasting what’s left of LeBron and then beyond that, listen, we know the business of this league. You apply pressure the other way and say I want out. <strong>So I’m fairly confident that Anthony Davis will come into training camp with an extended deal</strong>.”</em></p>

<p>The Beard doesn’t seem to care about it, since he already wants out of the City of Brotherly Love. But the Sixers haven’t moved him yet, and they reportedly wanted to <strong>convince him to stay</strong>.</p>



<p>With Harden on board, their championship chances are bigger since Joel Embiid needs a teammate of his caliber to take this team further. However, <strong>there would be no turning back</strong> on this situation.</p>
