“If the NFL wishes to summon me for legitimate thoughts on the tush push under oath, I’d be glad to give my testimony,” Kelce also clarified his stance to Packers President Mark Murphy, who had referenced Kelce’s previous comments as part of the argument to ban the play.

In an episode filled with laughter and hilarious stories from the Tkachuk brothers, Travis Kelce took a moment to send them a very strong message, comparing their dynamic to what he’s experienced with his own brother, Jason.

The parallels between the two sibling-duos are right there, both are just a few years apart and beloved superstars in their teams. Matthew is the only Tkachuk to have hoisted a Stanley Cup, unlike Travis and <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/jason-kelce">Jason Kelce</a> who both have won Super Bowl rings.



Regardless, Ottawa Senators captain Brady has more than enough time to catch up on his brother’s success with the Florida Panthers, perhaps they may cross paths in a Stanley Cup Playoffs series between the two Atlantic Division rivals.

While the Tkachuks and Team USA ultimately came up short of their goal, the impact they left was far greater than any silverware could offer. Jason Kelce made sure the Tkachuks took notice of what they had helped achieve.

“I haven’t seen the general country as excited about hockey as much as it was [for this tournament],” Jason said. “I love when hockey is that relevant. It’s exciting. It’s aggressive. There was passion out there. Everybody loved what you guys were putting out there for Team USA.”

The Kansas City Chiefs left a lot to be desired in Super Bowl LIX, where they suffered an embarrassing 40-22 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. Former NFL star Jason Kelce, however, believes that it wasn’t <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/andy-reid">Andy Reid</a>‘s fault.



During a recent appearance on “The Steam Room” with Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley, the former Eagles center credited the Philadelphia defense for making things hard for the Chiefs in New Orleans, claiming that Reid couldn’t do much about it. While <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/jason-kelce">Kelce</a> admitted that a few things could’ve been done better, at the end of the day, he feels that Reid isn’t to blame for the result.



“I think there are always things you look back on that could have been done better. I don’t know if Andy could have done much, to be honest with you,” Kelce explained, before sharing a strong advice for the Chiefs ahead of the 2025 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl">NFL</a> season: to upgrade the offensive line. “I think that was a team that very evidently needs to improve that position this offseason.”



<h2>Jason Kelce believes Andy Reid couldn’t do much against strong Eagles defense</h2>



The Eagles’ defense was a nightmare for the Chiefs during <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/super-bowl">Super Bowl</a> LIX. Patrick Mahomes was sacked six times and turned the ball over three times, including a pick-six to the hands of Eagles rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean.

It wasn’t a great night for Jason’s brother Travis either, with the tight end recording just four catches for 39 yards. In Kelce’s eyes, the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/kansas-city-chiefs">Chiefs</a>‘ offensive struggles had more to do with the Eagles’ dominant defensive performance rather than coaching or play-calling mistakes.

“If they’re getting home with four, it’s going to be hard,” Kelce said. “They were so dominant up front—Philadelphia in that game. You can go to boots and play action to try and throw them off their pass rush, but when you’re not successful on first or second down and getting into conducive situations on third down, it will be really hard.”



<h2>The Chiefs’ O-line situation requires action</h2>



As Kelce mentioned, the offensive line will probably be the biggest area where the Chiefs will try to improve in the summer. In 2024, it brought Reid and Mahomes constant problems, especially at left tackle.



Kingsley Suamataia entered the season as starter after being selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but it took only two weeks for Reid to make a change. Wanya Morris eventually lost the job as well, but the addition of D.J. Humphries didn’t go to plan either.



The veteran tackle got injured and forced Reid to try something different, moving left guard Joe Thuney to left tackle, a decision that he repeated in Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles’ commanding win proved that the Chiefs can’t wait any longer to address their O-line issues.

However, there is a strong feeling that Jason might not retire. Following the Eagles’ elimination, he stayed close to football by supporting his brother Travis in the playoffs, which apparently has reignited his interest in playing again.



Several persons close to Jason have addressed this matter. His own brother Travis said that he believes that the center still has some football in him, but his Eagles teammates don’t think the same.



Jordan Mailata, left tackle of the Eagles, is certain that Jason won’t return to the fields. His partner at the team’s offensive line thinks that the way in which the center is enjoying retirement will make him reject the idea of a possible comeback.

“There’s no shot,” left tackle Jordan Mailata recently told NBC Sports Philadelphia of a potential Kelce return. “You’re telling me he’s going shirts off in the games, gambling in the casinos, he’s coming back? No way. He’s having too much fun. He’s out there living his life. And I’m going to miss him for sure, man. This has been the greatest six years of my life for sure, being here in the NFL and getting to meet people like Jason Kelce.”



<h2>Has Jason Kelce ruled out a return from retirement?</h2>



As of today, Jason Kelce has not ruled out the possibility of returning from retirement. The Super Bowl LII champion has avoided to answer this question, but he’s set to announce his final decision soon.

With the team’s still resting, Kelce has some time to think before the start of the training camps. Jason said that he wants to spend more time with his family, so a comeback is not very clear currently.
