It was thanks to Kupp, who not only had 99 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns, but also had the game-winning touchdown.



Now, Kupp plays for the Seahawks and they visit his former team. Usually, this revenge games come with ill-will, but for Kupp, “It’s&nbsp;another football game. You get out there, play your game. I love these guys, I love so many of the guys over there, but at the end of the day, you’ve to go play a football game, so that’s going to be what it is.”



<h2>Kupp was special with the Rams</h2>



Kupp played eight years with the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/los-angeles-rams" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rams</a> and he was nothing short of spectacular. He averaged 1,271.1 yards per 17 games with the Rams, he scored 57 touchdowns and grabbed 634 receptions. He won the receiving triple crown in 2021, the same year where he won Super Bowl MVP.

Kupp exceled thanks to his surgical route-running and safe hands. He was stellar with Jared Goff and even more with <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/matthew-stafford" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Matthew Stafford</a>. Kupp, now at 32, signed with the Seahawks prior to the start of this season.

<h2>Kupp’s role with Seattle is very different</h2>



When the Rams had Kupp, he was an absolute workhorse. He had plenty of targets and the offense relied on him. Now in Seattle, the Seahawks already have a workhorse in Jaxon Smith-Njigba.



Hence, Kupp’s role is more of a second fiddle but the Seahawks also use him a lot with one of his most underrated skills: blocking. Kupp is arguably the best blocker of any wide receiver in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a>. He is good, tough and disciplined when blocking.

Running backs Zach Charbonnet and George Holani scored a touchdown each, contributing to an easy win. Even linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence scored twice, as he recovered two fumbles and took them all the way to the end zone.&nbsp;



The Seahawks improved to 7-2 with this result, and while other teams are drawing more attention, they have earned their respect, too.&nbsp;

During Monday’s edition of <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> Network’s “Good Morning Football,” Jamie Erdahl picked the Seahawks’ win over the Cardinals as the best of Week 10, noting that they swept their rivals off the field quickly.&nbsp;

“You know what’s something I hear all the time in football that I hate? ‘Start fast, start fast, start fast.’ There’s a new definition of starting fast at the NFL; it’s called the Seattle Seahawks yesterday against the Cardinals,” Erdahl said. “The Seahawks put up 38 points in the first half. Frankly, you put 38 points in the first half, I don’t care about the final score, and 38 in the first half would have beat every other team that lost so far in Week 10. That is stupid ridiculous starting fast, it’s the only starting fast that I care about officially now.”



The Seahawks continue to co-lead the NFC West division, and their next matchup could define the fate of the division. They will clash against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.&nbsp;

“You can’t draw that up,” Lawrence said, via ESPN. “T-Knight did a great job, running the play exactly how coach (Mike) Macdonald drew it up, and I was the lucky recipient of the two forced fumbles. I’ll take it every day.”



Not even his coach could fathom how impressive his performance was.&nbsp;



“I couldn’t believe that D-Law got the second one,” Macdonald said. “I was like, ‘Holy crap, it’s him again.’ But the way that he attacked the ball, T-Knight, is just awesome. We hadn’t forced any fumbles yet all this year on defense and we got two today. It’s awareness. Just taking advantage of those opportunities was awesome.”



The Seahawks remain in a two-team race with the Los Angeles Rams to win the NFC West division. They will face Sean McVay’s team in Week 11, in a game that could affect the rest of the season for each team.

<h2>Sam Darnold has a clear WR1 though</h2>

He leads the league in receiving yards with 948 on 58 catches. He also has four touchdowns. JSN is averaging 118.5 yards per game and has looked absolutely unstoppable. Now, if you pair him up with Kupp and now Shaheed, the Seahawks could make lots of damage for the upcoming games.

Reuniting with former Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak might have played a role in Shaheed’s desire to stay with the Seahawks.&nbsp;



“Super glad to be connected back with him,” Shaheed said of his reunion with Kubiak. “He’s familiar with me. He knows my strengths, and I know what his mindset is going into games. And you know, shouldn’t be too hard to get acclimated with him, just find my role in the offense.”

“Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the actual MVP of the National Football League,” Hawkins said. “We can make all the mental gymnastic you want to about the quarterback, but nobody’s really dominated, that’s why everyone has an opinion. The person who’s dominating is JSN. He’s averaging 180 yards per game. Last year, he had 1,100 yards, he has (949) in eight games. Last thing I’ll say, 4.6 yards per route. Had Calvin Johnson done that in 2012 when he broke the receiving record, he would have had 3,503 yards that season.”



Other players such as Jonathan Taylor, Daniel Jones, Drake Maye, and even Darnold have posted intriguing numbers, too. Smith-Njigba is playing at a high level, and he will probably get more MVP buzz if he maintains this level.&nbsp;
