“It’s a cool stat,” Macdonald said, via the team’s website. “I’m worried about where we’re going to go from here. It’s cool that we’ve done it, but as a head coach, you probably get too much credit, too much blame. This is a team operation when we go on the road. When we got here, it was, ‘Okay, how is it?’ Because the team had success on the road before I was here. So, I was curious, ‘Hey, what are the things that we were doing prior?’ A lot of that stuff we’ve kept, that we felt were aligned with how we wanted to operate. 



“I had experience from one place of how we did it in Baltimore. So, that was probably the blueprint of everything we did initially. Then you start, okay, well, what’s best for the Seahawks? Going east is way different than going west, you’re learning that. We’ve got a lot of firepower behind the scenes making these things happen as well, and those people deserve a lot of credit.”

Jones has made a strong impression on fans and analysts. The Seahawks’ defense has been their presentation card in recent times. The Legion of Boom is no more, but they can create another intimidating unit with Jones as the cornerstone.&nbsp;

ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that Smith-Njigba’s Monday game broke a tie for the longest streak in franchise history. His numbers are on a different level, as JSN leads the NFL with 819 receiving yards, while no other player has 700-plus receiving yards.

With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett out, Smith-Njigba has taken his game to a new level. The Seahawks are 5-2 and still co-lead the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams.

Several players have been mentioned as potential trade chips for the Saints, including star running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Chris Olave. New Orleans could use any of them to bring in plenty of draft picks to prepare for the future.



Kamara and Olave rejected the idea of a trade ahead of the Week 7 loss to the Chicago Bears, as they still believe they can compete with the Saints. However, they aren’t the only candidates to leave Ceasars Dome this season.

Vinnie Iyer of Sporting news suggested that Rashid Shaheed could be on his way to Seattle ahead of the trade deadline.

Shaheed’s contract expires at the end of this year, meaning the Saints could cash in on that. The Seahawks are one of the best teams in the league this season and adding another wide receiver for Sam Darnold makes a lot of sense.&nbsp;



Still, the Saints haven’t shown any signs of wanting to part with their players, even after a 1-6 start.&nbsp;

As for now, Zach Charbonnet is out-snapping Walker, even though Walker is producing way more. Walker has always been the starter over Charbonnet but now it seems the roles reversed without a reasonable explanation by the coordinator.



<h2>Walker is incredibly proficient</h2>



Right now, Walker is way more efficient than Charbonnet. He has 364 rushing yards and three touchdowns averaging 4.7 yards per attempt that ranks him 17th in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a>. He should be the one alongside <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/sam-darnold" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sam Darnold</a> in the backfield most of the time.

On the other side, Charbonnet has 156 rushing yards and only 2.6 yards per attempt, which put him 44th in the league. By all metrics, Walker should be thriving on the Seahawks, but Kubiak is not letting him flourish.

<h2>Kubiak has had collapses before</h2>



Just last year, Kubiak was the Saints’ offensive coordinator and his first two games were incredible. The Saints scored 40+ points in both games and everyone was raving about him. Then, the team ended in the bottom half in yards and points scored.



Kubiak’s had great mentorship in the NFL. He comes from a long tree of coaches, but the one who made the biggest impact was Kyle Shanahan. After working for Shanahan, he has received offensive coordinator jobs instead of assistants or lesser roles. Hence, it’s baffling that his big issue now is the run game, where Shanahan excels.

Lamar Jackson’s return after the bye week makes it easy to see why the Ravens would rank that high, but the team also lost games when the two-time NFL MVP was healthy. “Playing without Julian Love, DeMarcus Lawrence and Devon Witherspoon in Week 5,” explained Johnson, “this Seattle Seahawks defense looked nothing like its usual self. A defense that came into Sunday allowing just 4.5 yards per play and 6.0 yards per pass attempt with a 76.4 QB rating allowed Baker Mayfield to average 11.5 yards per attempt with 3 touchdowns and a 134.7 QB rating. With that said, defenses can be volatile as several units across the league have demonstrated this season. When Love and Witherspoon are back, Mike Macdonald will have his guys playing at a high level again.”



The Seahawks will face a tough challenge against the inspired Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1), who made a statement against the Kansas City Chiefs to close Week 5. Sam Darnold, Macdonald, and the rest will need to bring their best game against Trevor Lawrence and Co.
