<p>Now a report from Marca Spain is indicating that the first order of business upon release was to throw his dad a party for his birthday until 5AM.</p>

Supercomputer reveals final Premier League table for this season

<p>The <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/fifa" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BLUE CARD</a> </strong> was met with major backlash after it was announced that soccer would be looking to implement a new card, blue, whose primary objective is to reduce needless fouls and on-field antics of players.</p>



<p>The original idea behind the blue card was to issue one in the case of dissent or a cynical foul. Said player would be removed from the field for 10-minutes and would have to “wait” in a sin-bin area kind of like the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nhl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NHL</a>.</p>



<p><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/uefa" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UEFA </a>president <strong>Aleksandr Ceferin</strong> told the Telegraph <em>“IFAB has four European members. I don’t think they will do something against the interests of football. And, if they do, then we will deal with it later.”</em></p>

<p>Now some members of IFAB are proposing trials of sin-bins for dissent only, instead of cynical fouls too. Other areas within football are pushing to scale back the trial of the new card amid little fanfare.</p>

<p>Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou stated that a blue card would be a major burden on soccer games, <em>“You’ll have one team sitting there trying to waste time for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come back on. Every other game is trying to speed up and declutter, all we are trying to do is go the other way for some bizarre reason.”</em></p>

<p><strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/fifa" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FIFA</a></strong> is ready to try new things, this time turning its focus on international friendly windows, given the tight schedule in world soccer currently. The new competitions will be titled the FIFA Series and will have a test run in March of 2024; the idea is to have it expand worldwide in <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/World-Cup-2026-When-will-tickets-go-on-sale-20230416-0015.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2026</a>.</p>



<p>The pilot run will be played in four countries in March, <em>“Currently we have 20 teams for the pilot edition. For the 2026 edition we hope to have many more” </em>stated Elkhan Mammadov, FIFA’s Regional Member Associations Director for Europe.</p>



<p><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/world-cup-2026-fifa-confirms-which-cities-will-host-the-final-and-the-opening-match-20240204-BUS-102303.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FIFA</a> will not offer any prize money or give any trophies for this new series of matches, rather the national teams involved in the FIFA Series will have the chance to play opponents from other confederations as FIFA will cover the travel costs.</p>

<p>Off the field a horrible incident took place that has stained this classic matchup. Journalist <strong>Gisele Kümpel</strong> wrote on her social media that she had pressed charges to local police that the person playing the Inter of Porte Alegre mascot Saci, made strange “gestures” towards her.</p>



<p>Kümpel, also alleges that the mascot “hugged” her when Inter’s Alan Patrick scored the team’s third goal and would not let go. Saci, according to Kümpel, also made gestures that he was “kissing” the journalist during the goal celebration.</p>

<p>It’s not easy being the commissioner of a major sports league in the United States, too often the man in charge of it all has to take a lot of the weight and also must play down the praise. In the case of<strong> Don Garber</strong>, maybe no other commissioner in any major sports league in the United States has witnessed the game he governs evolve as much as his time in <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/mls" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MLS</a>.</p>



<p>Appointed to his position in 1999 as the league was seriously facing being folded, Garber, who was an <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL</a> executive, seemed to take the position more as a favor to his NFL owners, who to the bewilderment of many at the time had teams in MLS, but he quickly got to work. When at times it seemed that soccer and MLS’ back was against the wall the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/us-national-team" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">USMNT</a> would produce a magical run at the 2002 World Cup that kept the league alive, and later David Beckham would sign to give the league a major boost after it fell to obscurity. That boost elevated <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/mls-biggest-flops-reloaded-20240103-BUS-95726.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MLS</a> to where it is today.</p>



<p>Now, 29 teams deep, and games that have 65,000 fans in attendance, Don Garber provided an outlook of where MLS is at in 2024.</p>

<p>Speaking to Forbes reporter Favian Renkel in a press conference before the LA Galaxy took on Inter Miami, Garber shed some light on some issues in the league, mainly spending and roster building.</p>

<p>Garber will meet with 12 owners in Miami to talk about changing the roster rules, although he did not elaborate if it was for this or next season. Garber was very firm in stating, <em>“I can name the players that couldn’t join the league due to the roster rules on my hand.”</em></p>

<p>Garber stressed that Messi has been a huge spark for the league but not the only spark pointing to the other sold-out venues in week 1, <em>“I was in Charlotte yesterday with 65,000 people and Messi was not playing.”</em></p>



<p>“I t<em>hink all of you know (Messi) done well, he’s happy. It’s been great for Major League Soccer. It’s great for Inter Miami.”</em></p>



<p><em>“I feel this league has had so much momentum and had it last year before Leo was signed. We were on track to have our best year ever, and we did. We launched our Apple partnership, launched Leagues Cup.</em></p>



<p><em>“We had so many exciting things coming on. Then Leo comes in and he takes it to another level. So, we’ve all learned that it’s never about any one player, but we should all cherish the great experiences when legends come into your league. “</em></p>



<p>Don Garber has no question oversaw MLS’ continued growth with great success, although questions have been raised over the formula to generate revenue due to expansion fees, and how the league will look like when there is no more expansion to be had.</p>

<p>Garber has also come under fire for the league’s decision to avoid sending their best to the US Open Cup, and possibly not playing in it all together. The Commissioner has stated on many occasions that MLS holds all the cards in the tournament and that it’s not financially viable how US Soccer promotes and distributes the matches.</p>



<p>Another point of conversion is Leagues Cup and how it breaks the MLS season in two and shifts focus from regional competitions like the Concacaf Champions Cup.</p>

One thing that is lost in all the hype around the new MLS season is the current strike of the referees in <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/mls" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Major League Soccer</a>.</p>



<p>The conversations between the referee’s association and the league have hit a wall and there seems to be no immediate end in sight, as a result MLS has had to find over 60 officials who have some professional experience.</p>



<p>Enter<strong> Gabriele Ciampi</strong>, an Italian composure and orchestra leader. Ciampi is 48-year-old Italian and has been an official in the lower divisions as a hobby. Ciampi’s true profession is that of a classical musician, in which he has achieved a successful career that in recent years has focused on fusing traditional language with more popular aspects, such as pop.</p>

Promes was involved in <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/former-ajax-and-netherlands-attacker-prosecuted-for-smuggling-cocaine-20230530-BUS-5005.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">smuggling 1,360kg of cocaine</a> through the port of Antwerp, Belgium, to the Netherlands in two shipments in 2020.</p>



<p><br>A Dutch court passed sentencing on Wednesday, but Promes did not go to the court hearings and is not planning on facing the music. Promes is residing outside of the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/netherlands" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Netherlands</a>.<br></p>



<p>Lawyers representing Promes told the media that they would appeal his sentence, Promes denies any involvement in the charges he was sentenced for. The charges consist of importing, exporting, transporting, and possessing drugs.<br></p>



<h2>How was Quincy Promes caught?<br></h2>
