With the Buffalo Bills at 5-3, a playoff berth seems to be a real possibility for New York. That’s why the front office may have explored ways to improve its wide receiver room.

The Jets’ lack of moves before the deadline didn’t sit well with fans, but the general manager explained that they tried. “There need to be buyers, there need to be sellers,” Douglas said.

The Jets have done better than predicted for a team that started 1-3. However, there’s still a long way to go this season, which is why it will be interesting to see whether they can extend this winning streak without any extra help.

He’s averaging more than one turnover per game, and while play-calling hasn’t done a lot to help him, he’s not looking good right now.



Raiders’ HC Josh McDaniels has often been supportive of his ever-struggling QB. However, even he may have had enough after watching him throw yet another pick last night, stating that, “We’re going to have to be able to pass the ball better than what we’re doing in order to win.”



The Raiders’ backup QB situation isn’t ideal either, with Aidan O’Connell and Brandon Hoyer rounding up the QB room. As we’ve learned by now, the NFL is a passer’s league, and no one can win without a solid option at the position.

<h2>McDaniels Won’t Commit To Garoppolo</h2>



Even so, it seems like McDaniels isn’t so sure about sticking with Garoppolo for much longer. He made it loud and clear that turnovers are unacceptable, and he was non-committal when asked about the QB’s job security:



“I’m not gonna talk about that right now,” McDaniels said when asked about benching Garoppolo. “We can’t win if we give the ball away. There’s a lot of things that go into that. Protection, routes, reads, throws, catches, all that stuff. At the end of the day, we have to be able to take care of the ball.”



Notably, the Raiders had moved on from Derek Carr in the offseason, blaming him for their offensive struggles. A new QB arrived in Sin City, and their woes only got worse.



The Raiders have only managed to score 20+ points once this season. They rank last in total yards per game (288.6), rushing yards per game (70.0), and average the third-fewest points per game in the league (15.8).

“Really tough, man,” Adams said on Wednesday in a press conference. “I didn’t want to really take to social media because I spoke to him directly and reached out immediately. I was watching it on the plane as we were on the way over here. And it’s like a horrible movie, you don’t want to see the main character go down like that at all, let alone as early as what it was. And I know he was excited and I was definitely excited to see him go out there and ball out. I know he was feeling rejuvenated and excited about the opportunity to work with a really good team, so it sucks.



“That’s my guy though, so I let him know basically I’m here for him in whatever way that I can. I don’t know what I can do to make him feel better at this point, especially obviously with us being in season now as well, but like I said, it sucks and I’m just praying that his mental is in a good spot right now and he continues to overcome it, and obviously that team as well.”

Though there’s still not an official report by the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Josh McDaniels didn’t seem too worried on Friday. “I don’t think it was crazy serious. It was just kind of a bang-bang play. Totally clean, on both sides.”



However, on Saturday, thousands of Raiders’ fans were surprised because no official injury update was published. Las Vegas play San Francisco on Sunday in Week 1 of the preseason and maybe that will be the time to find out what’s happening with Adams. So far, no word.
