This time, however, it didn’t have absolutely anything to do with his actions on the field or his impending contract extension. Instead, he made the rounds for filing a lawsuit against a woman who has accused him of sexual assault.



Now, a report by Mike Florio of NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk reveals that Prescott acknowledged being involved in consensual actions with the accuser, adding that the events happened seven years ago.



<h2>Dak Prescott Admits To ‘Consensual Actions’ With Accuser</h2>



“At the time of the alleged assault, Mr. Prescott was single, and in fact, the timeline of events and [the accuser’s] actions in the seven years since the alleged assault are consistent with being involved with only consensual actions with Mr. Prescott,” the complaint states. “The fact that Mr. Prescott did not hear a single negative thing about this supposed interaction from nearly a decade ago is truly telling of Defendants’ motives.”

On top of all this, the report also states that the lawsuit also states that it’s already too late for the accuser to sue the Cowboys star, as ‘all civil causes of action have expired.’



“After receiving the aforementioned correspondence, counsel for Mr. Prescott reached out to confer with Defendant Shores’s counsel to confer on the matter, as surely she would not so blatantly attempt to extort a highly successful NFL quarterback at the height of his career,” the lawsuit reads. “But [the lawyers representing the accuser] confirmed their motives when they confirmed on a phone call that (1) all civil causes of action have expired, and (2) the sole reason for their demand of one hundred million dollars from Mr. Prescott was to forego criminal charges and for not making the alleged ‘assault’ public.”

This isn’t the first time something like this happens and it definitely won’t be the last. Hopefully, the Cowboys QB will be able to clear this situation soon enough and focus on the upcoming campaign.

<h2>Dalton Schultz believes the Cowboys are a zoo</h2>



However, Dalton Schultz, who played for the Cowboys from 2018 to 2022, believes nothing will really happen. During an interview with Pat McAfee, the tight end literally called his former franchise a ‘zoo’. This was is how he described the experience in Dallas. 







“There’s people literally going on tours while you’re lifting in the weight room. And they’ve got a one-way mirror for people to like look at. It’s literally a zoo, dude.”

Furthermore, when he signed with the Texans in 2023, Schultz could clearly see the difference. “The focus in Houston is just football. Notably, that’s not much of a surprise to former Cowboys star TE Dalton Schultz. Looking back to his days with the team, the Houston Texans standout cannot believe some of the things that went down in the facility.

They’re like ‘Holy crap, that actually happens at a practice facility?’ You think it’s normal, and then you come to a place like this.

The former Cowboys star was more specific in his rant. He claimed that team owner Jerry Jones has turned the team into a zoo, stating that it’s the way he likes to run the team:

It’s literally a zoo,” Schultz said. “There’s people tapping on the glass, trying to get people’s attention while they’re doing power cleans or whatever. It’s different. You don’t know how odd things are when you are until you get someplace else, and that seems to be the case with Schultz, who’s come to realize that those things weren’t normal.

Before the 2024 season kicks off, Parsons has addressed the Cowboys’ two main issues. The star pass rusher has thoroughly analyzed both the offense and defense, making two huge requests to Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy in order to resolve them.



“I said look at every team that was in that final four,” Parsons said, via NFL.com. “Who did they have? Who did Baltimore have? A great linebacking corps, right? Who did San Fran have? Great linebacking corps. K.C. (Nick) Bolton, and they came along. We need to get another bigger linebacker. And I said we need to get a super, 330 (pound) nasty interior [lineman].



“I saw the way Chris Jones affected that Super Bowl and I was like, ‘My God.’ And not even Chris Jones. Mike Pennel. I think we’ve got a lot of rushers. I think Osa (Odighizuwa), he can play inside, outside, one of the most versatile DTs. When we lost (Johnathan) Hank(ins), he’s a big dude, but we need to get one of them big old, nasty, pass-rushing, get-going [guys].”



As for the offense, Parsons said that the Cowboys need to give Tony Pollard a new contract. The running back played the 2023 season under the franchise tag, which means that he is set to become a free agent in the upcoming days.

“I would say toward the end of the season Tony Pollard was catching his rhythm again,” Parsons said. “I do think he’s an every-down guy. You’ve got to think, he broke his fibula, tibia, something, that’s a catastrophic injury. You’re talking about a guy that’s really been off from that January, came back Week 1 but he didn’t really do a lot. It takes a while to get back into football. He didn’t do OTAs. He didn’t do minicamp. He kind of did camp a little bit like working through it, getting back into it. You saw him increase, like he even said, ‘I’m just now getting back to myself.’ I would give Tony Pollard another shot.“



<h2>What is Micah Parsons’ contract with the Dallas Cowboys?</h2>



Micah parsons, who entered the league in 2021 as the 12th overall pick in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nfl-draft" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFL Draft</a>, is entering his fourth year of contract with the Cowboys. The team is set to offer him a new deal soon, but they must address the situation in the next weeks.

During another episode of his podcast ‘The Edge’, Micah Parsons appeared with CeeDee Lamb to talk about the situation of Dak Prescott. The defensive star is tired of all the critics received by the quarterback.


 

 


The big problem which sparked a national debate is how he compared Prescott’s role as a sports star with millions of workers in the country. “He’s got the hardest job in America. You’re the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, it’s the hardest job in America.”
