<p>It’s pretty clear that Jones is fully confident in Dalton’s abilities to lead the team to the playoffs, as a lot of people even hinted that he signed him as an insurance policy<strong> in the case they couldn’t reach an agreement with Prescott over his new contract.</strong></p>
<p>Truth be told, Dalton is perhaps the best replacement they could’ve hoped for in the free agency, considering he was at the helm with the<strong> Cincinnati Bengals </strong>for years and led them to multiple playoff berths, although constantly falling short of the goal.</p>
