“CeeDee about to hit the Brink truck,” Parsons said. “He about to get his. I can’t think of somebody more deserving. I think CeeDee’s the best receiver in the league. If you want to argue, top three, but in my eyes, seeing his mindset, how he comes every day, I think he deserves every penny. I’m going to be super excited for him for whatever his contract lays out. It’s going to be a nice contract, for sure.”

The Penn State product didn’t stop there. He went as far as to predict that his star teammate would get close to $36 million a year, going as far as to say that he’s a better player than Justin Jefferson:



“If I’m his agent, CeeDee’s getting about $36 million (per year),” Parsons said. “But I’m not his agent, I don’t know what goes on, what’s the combative arguments or whatever it is that may be. But (Justin) Jefferson set it. You could argue that CeeDee’s better, however you want to put it, but CeeDee should be right there with him.”

<h2>Will Micah Parsons get a contract extension with Dallas Cowboys?</h2>



Right now, there doesn’t seem to be a contract extension on the horizon for Micah Parsons. In fact, just a few days ago, the Dallas Cowboys picked his fifth-year option for 2025. 


 

 


So, that means the process of a new deal could be enormously delayed. Parsons is ‘locked’ for two more seasons and Jerry Jones has no rush to start negotiations. 2024 might pass without talks and, if there’s no agreement by 2025, let’s no forget there’s still the franchise tag option.

Star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is coming off the best season of his career, yet it wasn’t enough for him to get a new deal. Now, a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reveals that he might not be in a rush to get a deal done.



<h2>CeeDee Lamb Is In No Rush To Sign A Contract</h2>



Per Fowler, Lamb could actually benefit from the waiting game, as it should be just a matter of time before Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson resets the wide receiver market:

“Dallas Cowboys want to pay him at some point, but they know that he’s probably waiting on Jefferson to sorta reset that market, then Lamb can come in somewhere, landing his plane either behind Jefferson or somewhere close to him,” Fowler said. 



<h2>Dak Prescott Supports CeeDee Lamb</h2>



Unsurprisingly, Lamb didn’t show up for voluntary OTAs. However, he’s got the utmost support of Prescott and his teammates, who also understand the nature of this line of work: 



“That’s my guy,” said Prescott. “Not many people out there more swaggier, cooler, better player than that guy. So, obviously, you’re gonna miss him, miss having him around. But I’ve been in this situation. It’s business, business is business. He’s got my support, and I know the locker room’s support. That’s part of it. Hopefully, he’ll get all his and everything he deserves and is worth.”
